Description

Info for 14” front kit: This front bracket kit (aka ITSME4G63 Kit) allows you to bolt on 6 piston Front CTSV Brembo Calipers onto your GTO. An 18” wheel (stock GTO 18” wheels clear) is a minimum requirement for fitting the gigantic 6 piston calipers. Bolt in design, retains use of stock gto brake lines. Made out of strong Aircraft Quality 6061-T6 Aluminum, Hard Coat Anodized for durability. Extreme Condition Track Tested. Engineered to work specifically for all model years (04-06). For Off-Road use only.

Note: Requires 2010-2015 MY (Gen5) Camaro SS front rotors (14”/355mm Diameter). Rotor needs hub clearance hole opened up to clear stock GTO hub. Rotor bushings are used to center rotor on wheel studs. Minor modification to splash-shields is required for bracket/caliper clearance.

BFBK Info for 14.6” front kit utilizing 2009-2014 CTSV or 2012-2015 ZL1 front rotors: 18” stock GTO wheels will not clear/fit. Aftermarket 18” concave (non-dished) wheels with offsets of +35 or lower should be able to clear, 19” concave (non-dished) wheels with offsets of +35 or lower clear . Replicating the GTO hub center bore to exact spec is advised for this modification.

    Best Upgrade for the GTO
    After dreaming about a Brembo big brake kit for years, I finally stumbled upon this kit, found a good price on the calipers, and immediatelly bought it. Not only is this kit less than 1/3 the cost of the big brake kit directly from Brembo but it is with 6 piston calipers, looks much better, and fits inside the factory 18″ wheels. In my opinion, this is the most important and the best upgrade for the money available for the GTO. As anyone who drives their GTO hard knows, the factory brakes are just not good enough for this very heavy car. Buying very expensive rotors and high performance brake pads would help but would also cost nearly as much as doing this complete big brake upgrade. I have now put almost two hundred miles on these brakes and have to say they are simply amazing! The stopping power is so great that I was able to lock up my 245/40 Potenza RE-11’s at nearly 100mph. I cannot imagine how they would stop if I have some bigger racing slick tires. Finally, I would like to add that for those who don’t necessarily need such high performance braking, this big brake kit is worth every penny just for the visual enhancement of the car alone. The appearance of the GTO with these brakes transforms from a pretty nice looking sporty car to a serious high end, expensive sports car. I cannot think of a better appearance modification for the GTO then a gigantic pair of brembo brake calipers filling up the entire wheel. These are the brakes that the GTO should have had fro
