This plug will allow you to play AppleCarPlay on your Harley Davidson Boom GTS Radio, by plugging in our simple adapter for all Harley Davidson Touring Motorcycles with a wired headset communication port and a Boom GTS radio. This will fit all Harley Touring bikes with the 7 pin communication port: Harley Ultra Classic, Ultra Limited, Road Glide Limited, Ultra Limited CVO, Street Glide, Road Glide, Street Glide CVO, Road Glide CVO

This is a great device. 2020 RGL, frustrated to not have carplay. Simply plugged this great little device into the headset port, plugged in my phone, linked the two and BOOM…Apple CarPlay on my GTS. How great to have my apps and Waze all right there. Super easy and well worth it. Highly recommend this.

Harley sold everyone who bought a CarPlay bike a false bag of goods. Now the fix to put back what was originally sold to us with our new bikes is $$$$ for a little plug with a chip? The consumer gets screwed once again.

Works great on my ‘21 RG. All I wanted was the maps and basic car play functions. The HD GTS map system does not show traffic issues my smartphone does.

I’ve been using the adaptor for about a month now and am pleased with how well it works. Exactly what I wanted to use several applications of Apple Car Play on my Ultra. Primarily use the apple and google maps. I wanted the real time traffic updates that the Boom doesn’t give.
I like the adaptor because it didn’t require dismantling the fairing like other devices. To be honest, I was skeptical the adaptor would work for me, but I am very happy with it. Simple and effective.

If you have upgraded the radio to a Boom GTS yes. Other wise the 2016 Came with a Boom GT radio which doesn’t support carplay

This guy is a genius! Long story short.. I had my CarPlay working on my 2022 Street glide. I took it to the dealership to flash the radio to get the rear speakers working and the CarPlay stopped working after they flashed the radio. Apparently in the past the dealer was able to get the CarPlay working by enabling the whim and latest radio firmware update stopped it from working. I bought this adapter from Jeff and just by disabling the whim I was able to get the CarPlay to work again! Thank you jeff for going through all the troubleshooting with me. You’re awesome!
